There should be a title with something to do with today here...

...But there isn't. Sorry.


Anyways, today was a pretty full and intense day. We always start with quiet time or bible reading and the like. Then we had an hour to converse about last week and the week thus far, so they were relaxing times.

Then we had our teaching on servanthood, which has been fun. We started today talking about the characteristics of a good servant, and took examples from David, since he showed each trait at least once in his lifetime.

Then we went to hockey today. A bit of a slow day for me in the net, it was mostly about angling and hitting and in general things that I don't get to do, but I eventually did get some shots and for a few minutes, felt in form. But to get there full-time might take a little longer.

Anyways, came back and had the rest of our class, which was more on servanthood, and there was a section on getting the most out of outreach. This part was packed with amazing stories from previous missions trips and the trips that friends took... I mean, stories of healing, exorcisms, even a resurrection. So anyway, that prompted a time to pray for healing of one of the leaders (MacKenzie is his name) , who has hearing issues. So we prayed for him and had some time in the Presence. No presents like the Presence.

So after a few hours there, we walked back to the apartments, but not before I got to be generous. One of the guys walking with me has a cough and was gonna get some orange juice, but had no cash. So we went into a corner store where I bought him an O.J. and he didn't believe that I gave it to him, but after asking me how much he owed me (the answer is zero) he got it. So that felt pretty good.

Anyways, it's a late night, I'm a tired boy.
