So today was pretty solid. We had our new speaker come in today, his name is Rob MacAlpine (or something along those lines). He's a big music music junkie, married to a photographer, and has three kids: a dancer, a guitarist and a gymnast. Yeah, they're pretty artsy.
So today was basically meeting and getting to know each other. We also had a 40-minute run today, because we had no ice since it's thanksgiving.
But the highlight of the day was certainly the thanksgiving meal. It was everything a thanksgiving meal should be.. just that it was made for fifty people or so. So cheers to our cooks, it was a blast and a bit.
I also went up to the roof of the building which gives a sensational view of Vancouver, so I took a few pictures...
So the levels on it are poor, but maybe I'll toy around with them and see if they can look less blue.
Anyways, that was my day.
Arrivederci.

The Vancouver skyline is beautiful. You are about as far away as you can get from the peace and quiet of the lapping water here on Cole Harbour. Out there yesterday it was just us, the ducks, the herons and the sunshine...with a sprinkling of fall leaves, Glad you had a great meal with your new friends!
