A late fathers day?

... Today seemed to be themed 'fathers'...

First I had dryland training (ugh) at 7 in the morning... Not the most fun ever, bit it should be done.

Then we had our classes... this week's theme is 'knowing the Father's Heart'.. So today we had why people have a distorted and warped idea of who God is, because of their fathers. Because for some reason people tend to relate the Heavenly father with the only father they know; their earthly father. For some, this father is abusive, negligent, too preoccupied, etc. So that gets them off the wrong foot. Thankfully my father is none of those.

So then, I went to my weekly outreach which is at a nursery in Burnaby (home of Joe Sakic for hockey fans out there). That was more cleaning, because the only child there left early. So I bleached some toys, moved some stuff, and sorted out toys...

Then I came back to the base, ate some, and took a bus back to the apartment.

Twas my day.
Arrivederci.

Thanks, Matt. BTW, my surgery was a rousing success. Back home today and coming around nicely.
