Yeah, a mostly ho-hum day.
Woke up late, did some prayer this morning, I had an oral presentation to do today, that was really the only thing too out of the ordinary this morning. That's adrenaline jolt number one.
This afternoon had hockey, where I got a shot in the upper ribs relatively close to a lung, which put my breathing off for the afternoon, so that sucked a fair but, but I did play pretty good even while hacking and wheezing.
Got back, ate dinner, cleaned, walked home. It was sopping wet... Just the way I like it, so I walked a little slower, to be more fully saturated by the night.
So I get home, dry off, plop down and start up on the lappy, and lightning strikes in the alley behind our building. There was no thunder before it to give warning it was coming, so it was quite abrupt. There's a nice jolt of adrenaline right there, too.
Might do something tonight.
And by might do something, I meant will do something.
You see, there's a bowling alley on our street so we bowled, but it was interesting, because it was five pin, something I'm not accustomed to. And it also included (not by me) a strike from a gutterball. Anyways, I got 103 and 142 or something around there. Then I went with the hockey guys went out for pizza, and I came home.
Arrivederci.

Of course your mom will ask if you saw a doctor after your hit in the chest.
And your dad will ask why you didn't go out with your buds for pizza.
And your son will reply I'm fine, it just knocked the wind out of me momentarily and I did go with the guys for pizza.
