Lookin' up...

HO HO, what a rush. I walked into the bank, took out $20 and had more money than before. If only that happened after every transaction.

So the classes were pretty sweet as usual, but the really noteworthy event of the day was the ice time. We had two guests out doing the practice, a goalie coach named Jack (his last name escapes me) and Darcy Rota, a former NHL all-star whose played for the Blackhawks, Flames (Atlanta, the straight-up vintage flames) and the Canucks.

So the goalie coach was phenomenal, he said he'd hook me up with a tom of resources and stuff before I go, let me use a pair of custom made 34+1 pads for a bit, and maybe have a lesson from him with 1 or 2 other guys. So that was pretty sweet.

Then we had late classes tonight and then I took one of the other YWAMers out for coffee, though no coffee was to be had (he had tea, I had a damn good hot chocolate).

That's it.
Arrivederci.
