Oh yeah, weekends rock, but today rocked too.
We started REALLY LATE, 10:20 in the morning, (it was sunny too, that's a change) and we had a little bit of time to worship and intercede for the building in Vancouver. In case you didn't know, they need to raise $2.2 million in 55 days, and they only have $25000 towards it. So if you feel led to give away that 2.2 mil lying around, DO IT!
So we had hockey again today, I played decent, but not that good.
Then we got to watch the Vancouver Giants of the WHL (Western Hockey League) which is the west coast's equivalent to our QMJHL. Oh yeah, Vancouver won the Memorial cup, which is the trophy given out to the best major junior team in Canada (basically, one trophy short of the Stanley Cup). So we had a good time watching hockey even though they list 5-4 in overtime.
So that's what happened today.
