Buh bye Cantona

This was the farewell day for our speaker Rob... Who has quite a resemblance to Eric Cantona (most of you probably don't know who he is). Anyways, today was kind of a concluding day to the whole lesson... After hearing about forgiveness and stuff, it was about time to do just that; forgive and let go on grudges. The group I was in never really had to face too many of these dark and dreary things, so it kind of turned into an intercession thing for us (we fasted lunch again too). Rob really encouraged us sheltered folk by saying something along the lines of "your hearts are already in the right place to do ministry" so, that was pretty cool.

I also had a lot of free time today because it was 'work duty day'. Everyone is assigned chores, and mine is to set up and take down chairs and tables for meals and class. Since that goes on all week, the time set aside for everyone else to do stuff, we have off. So I worked on journals and bok reports, and got a lot done, so that was great.

Then we had supper, and I ended up doing a heck of a lot of work after... Both taking down all the tables and chairs (with a group) and drying most of the dishes from supper as well, so I'm kinda tired at the moment.

So that was my day.
