Today is a blur, I'll just get to the big stuff. I mean, we ate and learned, that's it.
Now for the big news. It's Hiroshima in the head, Nagasaki on the noggin. All signs point to a blown mind. Jack the goalie coach who comes out GAVE me a brand new pair of Bauer Vapor XXX goalie pants (NHL-caliber stuff) and a new. Pair. Of. Custom. Bauer. Goalie. Pads...
Just let that sink in.
A. New. Pair. Of. Custom. Bauer. Goalie. Pads.
These things are divine. Remember the stick giving off an aura a while back? These behemoths produce a halo. In fact, they clock in on the UV scale, you need SPF 15 to be in the same room as them. They are red, white, and blue, custom made to the specifications of NHL goalie Nikolai Khabibulin (ironically, a Russian), and are probably worth more than every other pair of pads combined. Excuse me while I both wet myself and salivate in glee. But the best thing? These pads are so light. Both of the pads together weigh maybe half of one of my old pads. Plus they are 3 inches taller than my old pads, so no more shots to the knees.

YoYoYo Mattman..sounds like the big Goalie in the sky is really lookin out for you, dude. The perils of prostitutes, songs of salad sorrows and snowy stories and now priceless protection, pad for the perils of powerful pucks. They say (whomever "they" are) that what goes round comes round and you've always been a pretty rightous dude so, while I revel in your recent reticitude, I am nonplussed but nonetheless somewhat overthemoonish with your recent bestoence...Rock on Mr Netminder......DUNK
Gotta say, I agree with ywamdad and want to add this:
"Delight yourself in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart." Ps 37:4
I love it cause God knows our delights, even when we don't specifically ask Him.
